Special Uses of Card Stock
If your project includes the ability to write on it; such as an RSVP card etc., you may want either a dull or non-coated finish. A gloss finish sometimes can smudge and is difficult to write on.
If you are designing a book or other item that will require folding; but you want a glossy finish, you may want to use gloss cover stock that is 80# or less. The gloss finish sometimes can crack during the folding process for weights above 80# cover.
